On the morning the second coffee machine dies, floor manager Wendell Pryce files a request for a lumbar adjustment to his desk. The request is ridiculous. The binder has a clause, and the clause requires a wall to move. Dana approves it, because the binder says she must, and by the end of the week the fourth floor has no exit from its break room and one compliance officer who has been reclassified, on paper, as a site supervisor.
