Exact Change Only – 80 Episodes – Bible + Shot Board

A bowling-alley owner three months from foreclosure finds a vending machine that answers any wish with the nearest item in its own stock, at retail, so she tries to save the alley by selling back everything she wished for.

Mara Kwan, thirty-one, inherited the Gutter from her father along with an $18,400 balloon payment and a league that bowls on Tuesdays. Three months from a sheriff’s sale, she feeds a dollar into the Vend-O-Matic 4000, a machine her dad bought second-hand and never plugged in. It rejects the coin, the keypad lights, and she types the obvious sentence: enough money for the balloon payment. It dispenses a factory-sealed cash box, empty, and a receipt charging her twenty dollars for it. What she does not expect is that the machine is not a wish granter but a shop, with a fixed inventory and a till, and that it will answer every question she has for the rest of the season in retail order until the shelf is empty.
